The Home Chest Routine

1. Regular Push-Ups
Targets the mid-chest
Keep your hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor, keeping your elbows tucked at roughly a 45-degree angle rather than flaring out. Push back up to the starting position.
Modification: If standard push-ups are too difficult, drop to your knees or place your hands on an elevated surface like a sturdy couch or wall.

2. Incline Push-Ups
Targets the lower chest
Place your hands on a stable, elevated surface (like a bed, couch, or sturdy chair) and extend your feet back. Lower your chest toward the surface and push back up. This variation is slightly easier and focuses on the lower portion of the pectorals.

3. Decline Push-Ups
Targets the upper chest
Place your feet up on your couch or chair and put your hands flat on the floor. Lower your body down carefully, then push upward. Elevating your feet shifts the workload to your upper chest and front shoulders, making it a more challenging movement.

4. Chest Squeeze Isometric Hold
Finisher to isolate the chest
Stand straight and press the palms of your hands together firmly in front of your chest (like a prayer position). Squeeze your chest muscles as hard as you can while pressing your hands together. Hold this intense contraction for 20 to 30 seconds, breathing normally. Repeat 3 times
